Sims-Lohman, Ethan Allen and PPG team for CEU credits
October 17th, 2018
Ethan Allen’s luxurious showroom in Northern Cincinnati was the site of a combined seminar presented by PPG paints and Sims-Lohman. Aimed at local interior design professionals, the event offered one CEU education credit. The presentation was led by Ruthanne Hanlon, PPG’s National Color and Design manager. She provided designers with the latest tools, color palettes, and inspiration to help assist clients in finding their unique voice of color.
Four “stations” were disbursed throughout the showroom, based upon PPG’s 2019 color palettes. Each beautifully paired furnishings, cabinetry, countertop and hardware together to show ways of unifying an open home concept.
The Power of Nature
Dee Schlotter, PPG senior color marketing manager explains how the restorative power of nature is vital to incorporate into interiors. The 2019 color of the year is called Night Watch. The dark green hue is about bringing the healing power from the outdoors into your home through color. Visit PPG’s new online virtual room painter to test for yourself!
Special thanks to Angela Landrum, Sims-Lohman Designer, PPG / Ruthanne Hanlon, National Color and Design Manager, and Ethan Allen / Jane Woodruff, Ethan Allen Cincinnati District Design Manager.
