On March 23, 2018, the Cincinnati team of volunteers visited Bond Hill Academy’s Adopt-A-Class. Julie Conners, along with the group, led the class in a science experiment using food coloring, oil, and water.

Just how did they do it?
With the addition of an alkaline seltzer, they made mini lava lamps! Lava lamps were particularly popular back in the 1970’s and have recently made a resurgence with millennials. If you want to try making your own at home, go to this link and download the instructions. click here!
