This beautiful kitchen project was completed in the summer of 2017 for Arlene Dunn and her husband Steve Dunn. Steve Dunn is the President of Westport Homes, in Indianapolis. Arlene herself was very integral in the design of this gorgeous kitchen and had a very clear vision for the end result. With the help of her Sims-Lohman designer, Jim Campbell, the final results are utterly amazing!
The “Two Tone” Kitchen
An integral part of this fabulous kitchen is the use of multiple colored cabinets. It creates a cohesive yet ‘different’ design. The kitchen perimeter cabinets are manufactured by Omega and include the Pinnacle ‘full access’ frameless doors.
The door style is Artesia Maple in the color Pure White. The stove hood was also manufactured by Omega and is a custom design mirroring the perimeter cabinets.
The island cabinets match the outermost cabinets in design and door style. The doors are finished in the color Dove. Then they are dry-brushed and finished with Ebony glaze technique to create an unusual contrast.
The countertops are quartz in the color Spyder, with beautiful eased edges.
The Dry Bar
The dry bar extends the colors of the island into this separate space. This helps to create a consistent overall feel making an airy and light kitchen design.
For kitchen remodeling, consider Jim Campbell. He is a resident designer for Sims-Lohman at our Zionsville, Indiana location.
